This "Magic Tree House Book One: Dinosaurs Before Dark" activity guide by Mary Pope Osborne is set up so it can be used as a unit plan for the teacher, or used in literature circles. It's not the actual book. It is broken up into a 13 day plan, and includes chapter questions, vocabulary, writing prompts, comprehension questions, and projects. This would be a perfect resource for a home schooler.
