Hamid Fernana

The current research is based on a 15th century manuscript titled 'The necklace of ethical gems' which served as a textbook and stressed the importance of education, social cohesion, and the moral development of the pupil.The research discovered pre-colonial dimensions of pedagogy (Ubuntugogy) and its approaches, in terms of arrangement, knowledge engagement, cementing the teacher-learner bond, and the spiritual development of the schoolchild.
