    [synopsis] => From the very first book of the Bible, God has spoken about why there is suffering in the world and how we are to view God in light of this suffering.

Job is the story of a righteous man who lost hope when he lost everything but his life. His three friends view him as a sinner and deserving of the suffering but Job sees himself as undeserving and self-righteous. The four men lob arguments back and forth until a fifth man comes and defends God's point of view on suffering. God then appears and shows Job Who He is and what the answers are to his complaints.

Stand Still and Consider breaks down each argument in the book of Job and how the personalities, respond to one another. The reader will be given an understanding of how the Bible views suffering, what to do when we are suffering, and how to counsel another who is suffering.

Listen to this, O Job;
Stand still and consider the wondrous works of God.
