Son análisis que hacen visible cómo se imbrican aspectos técnicos y políticos colocando en un lugar estratégico la Ley General del Servicio Profesional Docente. Muestran que la apuesta gubernamental para detonar cambios en la calidad educativa ha elegido la ruta aparentemente técnica de la profesionalización docente y, sin embargo, las discusiones aquí reunidas evidencian que tales determinaciones en realidad entran en tensión con los beneficios políticos ganados desde tiempo atrás por el magisterio.
