There is a nuance between the words nufi and fè'éfé'è. indeed, the language spoken in Haut-nkam is called fè'éfé'è. Before the arrival of the French missionaries Barthelemie Tuem, Paul Gontier and his compatriots, the language was only spoken and not written, the advent and adoption of a writing system for the Fe'efe'e language will amaze you so much and amaze the villagers that they will exclaim: "nu fi" which literally means new thing.
