Description
The most fundamental way to avoid discipline issues is by carefully creating a structured environment which eliminates common flashpoints. Viewers learn how by designing (and sticking to!) a schedule, they can reduce the potential for conflicts and guide young children to develop their self-confidence and self-help skills. We illustrate how important it is to balance certain types of activities: between indoor and outdoor; between quiet and vigorous; between teacher-directed and child-initiated. Ideas for nap and story time, techniques on managing space so activity areas don’t overlap, and tips on ways to best use computers with different age groups are all included in this program..
